CoronaVirus Advice for Staff

We are now being asked a lot about what to do if you suspect you may have the Coronavirus.

The UK may be on the verge of an epidemic but at the moment the virus is being contained. If the ‘break out’ of the virus occurs, there may be a change of advice but we’ll not take action unless we officially hear news on what to do. Please keep an eye on this Facebook site, we’ll also be sending out information via email so please send in your email address to Sarah Taylor in the office if you haven’t already done so. sarah@edwardscleaningltd.com is where to send it but please add your full name and ideally the site you work on as some emails don’t match the individuals name.

If you think you have been infected with the virus and have checked against the symptoms (below) then please do not go to hospital, doctors surgery or a Pharmacy.

The symptoms of coronavirus are:

a cough
a high temperature
shortness of breath
But these symptoms do not necessarily mean you have the illness.

The symptoms are similar to other illnesses that are much more common, such as cold and flu.

Call the NHS 111 hotline for advice.
Call the office on 0191 3000814 (north east)
or 0113 8870314 (Yorkshire) to let us know as soon as you can. These are 24/7 numbers.

Do not go in to work if you have been advised not to. We must try to not spread the virus to other members of the public, work colleagues and the client’s staff.

If you have any questions, queries or just want to talk, please give us a call. We’re here to help.
