Wellbar Central is managed by Avison Young, who selected Edwards through a competitive tender process. From day one, our goal was to deliver a responsive, high-quality service that met the needs of this busy city-centre site.

One of our early priorities was to better support the on-site cleaning supervisor. Under the previous provider, she was taking on too much without enough backing. We addressed this by reviewing her hours, increasing her pay, and offering targeted training. By investing in her, we ensured she felt valued and empowered in her role. An approach that benefits both our team and the client.

Raising Standards Through Innovation

We’re always looking for ways to add real value, whether that’s through better management or smarter tools. At Wellbar Central, we introduced eco-friendly, ultra-concentrated cleaning products that can be diluted on site. This switch has helped reduce plastic waste and supported the client’s own sustainability goals.

We also provided new equipment such as i-mops during a floor refurbishment project. These machines ensure the new surfaces are maintained to the highest standard while using less water and fewer chemicals. Best of all, these upgrades were delivered seamlessly, with no disruption to day-to-day operations. Something the client appreciated!
