We’re Recruiting… Business Development Manager (Yorkshire)

We’re a family owned and operated business covering Yorkshire. We’ve been operating in Yorkshire for 8 years and have an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding customer service.

With huge growth plans for 2022 and beyond, we’re looking for an experienced BDM to sell commercial contract cleaning to businesses throughout Yorkshire. We specialise in cleaning offices, factories, medical and educational establishments.

The role has an initial £30,000+ basic + open OTE but realistic £42,000+ laptop, phone and expenses. We’ll pay a competitive car allowance too. Home based (anywhere in Yorkshire).

Job Specification; to consistently achieve target, attending and making appointments (with help of an appointment setter who will report to you and will run your diary). IT literate, ideally having worked with Google Workspace, experience of winning tenders (you’ll need to understand spreadsheets), CRM experience, excellent presentation skills and getting Edwards Commercial Cleaning on to preferred tender and managing agents contractor lists. You’ll be a vital part of our management team.

We’re a family business with a family culture of caring and with strong ethical values so need someone really personable who can work closely with our fantastic Operations Team to build the business. No need to have a cleaning background but service sales would be an advantage. Attention to detail is key. We can train you about the business and cleaning industry.
