We’re recruiting! Looking for a Business Development Manager (Yorkshire)

We’ve been operating in Yorkshire for 7 years and have an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding customer service.

With huge growth plans for 2021 and beyond, we’re looking for an experienced BDM to sell commercial contract cleaning to businesses throughout Yorkshire. We specialise in cleaning offices, factories, medical and educational establishments.

The role has an initial £25,000 basic + open OTE but realistic £37,000. Car, laptop, phone and expenses. Home based (anywhere in Yorkshire).

Job Specification; to consistently achieve target, attending and making appointments (with help of an appointment setter who will report to you and runs your diary). IT literate, ideally having worked with G Suite, experience of winning tenders (you’ll need to understand spreadsheets), CRM experience, excellent presentation skills and getting Edwards Commercial Cleaning on to preferred tender and managing agents contractor lists. You’ll be a vital part of our management team.

We aim to be the best in our industry and are currently trialling bespoke systems to massively improve what we do and take us up to the highest level. We’re a family business with family culture of caring and with strong ethical values so need someone really personable who can work closely with our fantastic Operations Team to build the business. No need to have cleaning background but service sales would be an advantage. Attention to detail is key. We can train you about the business and cleaning industry.
